ioWARE Input/Output Modules

The ControlWare ioWARE Input/Output Modules are designed for remote distributed applications, and convert real-world data into Modbus RTU communications. A variety of input/output analog and digital modules are available. Analog IO modules for measuring voltage, current, thermocouple, thermistor, KYZ pulse, and RTD are offered along with Digital IO for voltage, dry contact, and relay modules.

ioWARE RS232-to-RS485 Converter

The ioWARE RS232-to-RS485 Converter is a din rail mounted RS232 to RS485 bus converter for industrial applications. This converter is designed for use with ControlWARE products as well as most other industrial applications. Serial connection is made on the top of the unit with the on-board DB9 port. The device is powered with 5VDC power on the bottom connector, and the RS485 2-wire or 4-wire connections are also made on the bottom connector.

powerWARE Industrial Power Supplies

The powerWARE series is a family of din rail mounted power supplies for industrial applications. The supplies are designed for use with Control Ware products as well as most other industrial applications. Approved for Class I and Class II applications, the powerWARE range of single and multiple AC-DC units are available in 40 and 60 Watt range.

surgeWARE TVSS

The surgeWARE TVSS Series provides Transient Voltage Surge Suppression (TVSS) for AC Voltage transient voltage spikes and voltage fluctuations.  This ensures protection of downstream device component protection.  surgeWARE TVSS modules are din rail mountable for easy installation.  Protection for AC and DC transient voltage spikes is available by ordering appropriate AC and/or DC TVSS modules. 

upsWARE DC

The upsWARE products provide clean DC power for PLC controllers, industrial computers, touch screen interfaces, radio equipment, and other critical systems ensuring elimination of AC power glitches normally seen in direct AC power supplies. The high efficiency ensures cool operation over wide operating temperature range, comparable with PLC controllers, RTUs and distributed IO devices. Designed especially for mission critical applications, the outputs are surge rated to accommodate the peak currents required by RF and other sensitive devices. Two power supply models are available - 12 or 24 VDC power. upsWARE uses the latest high frequency switching technology, accepting a wide range of AC or DC input voltages without bulky inefficient transformers, selector switches or jumpers.

surgeWARE RS485

This high performance 3-stage lightning protector provides superior protection of differential or balanced digital or analog lines from transients and surges. The units will protect two pairs of differential data or analog signal/control lines.

surgeWARE Ethernet

The 3-stage Lightning Protector provides superior lightning and surge protection for indoor and outdoor 10/100 Base –T Ethernet networks. Also compatible with Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices, this unit provides protection to both Ethernet data pairs as well as the PoE DC power feed.

In the data path, the first stage is comprised of a differential gas discharge tube. Stage two is a pair of current limiting series resistors and the final stage is a high speed, low capacitance diode clamp array. In the power path, the first stage is comprised of a differential gas discharge tube. Stage two is a pair of filter inductors and the final stage is a pair of bi-directional clamping diodes.

upsWARE AC Rack Mount

The upsWARE VAC UPS is an industrial grade line interactive UPS that supports auto voltage regulation, cold starting and lightning and surge protection. The unit is equipped with Automatic Battery Management that conserves battery life by reducing the number of times the UPS has to rely on the batteries to boost line voltage. All upsWARE units are equipped with energy saving technology to reduce the amount of power being consumed at all times when the unit is on. Software is included in Control Ware's energyWARE Suite to allow automatic shutdowns, record power failure history and show basic parameters such as input/output voltage, input/output frequency, battery level and load levels.
